The Top Five Football Quarterbacks of the Past 10 Years

Published by Mark Hall under Fitness

As amazing as it seems, we’re almost done with another decade. This has been an interesting span of ten years in the pro football world. With some of the best quarterbacks to ever play the sport, I’m now going to go ahead in listing the top 10 QBs of the last decade.

My rankings factor in the overall performance over the last 10 years, rather than who may be better than who at present. Based on this, we’re going to remember what’s transpired in seasons past in determining who finished where on this list.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this, and I’d love to hear any feedback if you happen to disagree with me. Here we go.

Coming in at number five on my list is Kurt Warner, the veteran quarterback who is still going strong to this day. As the current leader of the Arizona Cardinals, he added a second Super Bowl appearance to his resume last season. Warner shows no signs of slowing down at this point.

Brett Favre. A better career QB than at least one of the guys (and arguably more) below him here, Favre’s still going strong to close out the decade.

With 5 conference championship appearances on his resume, Donovan McNabb has done his share to earn a spot on this list. The Eagles have been perennially strong during this decade, thanks to a great defense and a top notch quarterback.

Next up is Tom Brady, who easily could have captured the number one spot on this list if not for his season ending injury and Peyton Manning’s recent dominance. Still, many might argue for at number one but I believe that Manning’s simply been a bit better.

Lastly, Peyton Manning is already being spoken of as one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game of football, and some are beginning to believe that he may in fact be the best. He led the Colts to a Super Bowl, and it wouldn’t surprise me to see him win another one.

The Best QBs In The NFL Go Head To Head At The Super Bowl

Published by Fred Slattery under Sports Apparel

If you were to ask a football fan to name the best two quarterbacks in the league, you\’d likely be told that Drew Brees and Peyton Manning earn this distinction. Through the course of the season, these two players led their teams to many wins, and ultimately the Super Bowl.

Peyton Manning and Drew Brees are believed by many to be the best two quarterbacks in football. Typically drafted before any others in fantasy leagues, the two of them are reliably consistent year in and year out, giving their teams the best offensive units in football. When they go head to head at this year\’s Super Bowl, we\’re going to see a battle of quarterbacks above all else.

These have both been great teams throughout the year. In fact, they were the last two teams to lose a regular season game and many were predicting undefeated years for both of them after they remained undefeated well into December.

Neither the Colts nor the Saints finished out the season without a loss. In fact, each team lost two games, each for their own reasons. Still, this was enough to secure home field advantage, which clearly helped to secure a Super Bowl berth for each team.

While both of them lost a few games during the last few weeks of the season, many would attribute this to the fact that they no longer needed to win more games in order to secure home field advantage.

Experts usually look at the defensive units when it comes to the Super Bowl. They say that defense wins championships, but neither of these quarterbacks seem to be hindered by an effective defense.

Recent champions have all resulted from highly proficient defenses and while both the Colts and Saints are efficient defensively, their defensive performances won\’t matter much since each quarterback seems to be effective no matter what.

This may very well be one of the highest scoring Super Bowls we\’ve seen in recent years. As great as defensive battles can be, this will be an extremely refreshing change from the usual.

Besides the NFL, the author also regularly shares on solar pool panels and solar panels price.

Things You Must Know About An ATV

Published by Jon Stacey under Fitness

What does ATV mean? It simply means all terrain vehicle. It is just describing any small type of vehicle that is open type of vehicle that is designed to be used off the road. It will travel on low pressure tires. This will usually be driven by one person, although on some, you can ride two people.

These 4 wheelers operates similar to that of a motorcycle. It may not go as fast as a motorcycle can, but the extra wheels provide more stability at a slower speed. If you have ever been on a motorcycle, you know that when you slow down, you will usually have to put your feet down on the road to balance. While on this vehicle that has three or more wheels, there is no need to worry about tipping over while remaining stationary.

You have probably heard these products referred to as four wheeler or quads. That is the most common term for them. While this item holds different terminologies, they are all the same type.

This means of transportation was made first in the United States. They were designed before the Japanese came out with them. Even though they were made some years ago, the models that they produce today are somewhat similar to the originals that they designed in earlier days. 4 wheelers have however become a lot more technologically advanced.

Should you clean this item? Well, of course you should. You need to take care of it just as you would any other means of transportation. Check the tires and brakes. Get to know how it operates. It is a huge safety precaution to be sure that everything is working as it should on the vehicle. By maintaining the cleanliness of this product, you will extend the life of it. If you want to be able to ride this for a long time, take care of it. You will get what you put into it.

In this world today, there are almost nine million all terrain vehicles that people ride. This has become a widely spread sport, and everyone who participates should have knowledge about safety while riding. Adults, be sure to supervise those who are under sixteen years old. Always ensure that those riding have a helmet on. There are special type of clothing or gear designed to protect you. It is good to wear that. Keep the vehicle on designated areas or trails. Never drive it on a main road because you could have an encounter with another vehicle resulting in injury.

As you would not drink or drive in a car, apply that same method with four wheelers. You need to stay as alert as possible. Do not allow two people to ride on a one person vehicle. That is just common sense. If it is not designed to hold two people, then do not attempt to do so. You can take a class or a course on safety, which will teach you how to handle it and be as safe as you can.

Are you ready to buy one? These items can bring you so much joy and pleasure. Before making your final decision on the one that you want, make sure you have asked all the questions that you wanted to ask. You need to know about the product and its history. These are usually priced in a wide range, so shop around and get the best deal that you can. You may find Atvs for sale all across the USA, but remember to look online first for reviews. Be wise in what ever decision you make.

If you seem to like some adventure, you will want to learn some more about an ATV. There are a lot of youth ATV items that you will want to buy for your kids this festive season.

The Fantastic Activity Of Soccer For Your Children

Published by Samantha Williams under Fitness

A child\’s health and well being is directly affected by their level of physical activity.

Exercise releases endorphins, and the presence of them is integral in the well being of any child.

As a result, sports are a terrific physical outlet for children. They should get involved in different sports as early as they can growing up. While their favorites will be ultimately up to them, I\’d like to suggest that you start out with soccer as early as you can.

This has proven to be a great activity that\’s loved by kids everywhere, and there are other benefits that come with choosing soccer too. Let\’s go into a few of them here.

First of all, the sport will actively build hand eye coordination in your child. Good balance skills will be built as your children dribble the ball and they\’ll learn how to depend on their legs to maneuver them quickly in different directions. Since no hands are allowed to be used, this builds an even stronger sense of balance.

Soccer often involves quite a bit of running and general moving about the field and as a result will help to build muscles strength within your child\’s legs as well as stomach and back. Not just the running but the kicking and dribbling all help to use muscles that wouldn\’t normally get much use from walking alone.

Lastly, this is a team sport to the fullest extent. Playing on a field with up to 10 other teammates at once will build teamwork and cooperation attributes that make your child more amenable to working with other people in all situations across the board.

After everything said, soccer is proven to be a great choice for your children and it doesn\’t matter if you have girls or boys or both, soccer is a game for everyone and a good choice to make.

Besides children, this author also regularly pens articles regarding workout maternity clothes and maternity clothes plus size.

The Best Moments That Have Occurred During This 09-10 NBA Season

Published by Mario Perry under Fitness

It\’s been a very interesting season so far in the basketball world. With many unexpected twists and turns, fans have been pleasantly surprised with some great performances, in addition to some disappointing news with respect to other players.

Let\’s look at some of the highlights of the 09-10 basketball season thus far. We\’ll cover some good, as well as some bad here.

The first thing we should recognize is some of the teams that have come out of nowhere and established themselves as very respectable basketball teams. There are two that stand out to me more than any others, and these were both two of the worst teams in the league last season.

First is the Oklahoma City Thunder, a team that people believed had a bright future but never thought they would be competitive this quickly. Thanks to superstar Kevin Durant, the team has suddenly morphed from one of the worst in the league to one with a winning record this season.

Although people had a slight hunch with the Thunder, when it came to The Memphis Grizzlies, no one had ever thought that they would make it this season or any season for that matter.

Thanks to some great play from Marc Gasol, Rudy Gay, Zach Randolph, and OJ Mayo, this is a team playing some very inspired basketball. They may even make the playoffs.

However, where there is good news there is bad news and looking at the bad end of things, the Gilbert Arenas incident did not bode well for the league at all. Waving a gun at the teammate saw the Washington Guard suspended after pleading guilty.

Where there are new players there is a glimpse into the future of basketball and players such as Tyreke Evans and Brandon Jennings who are two top performing rookies are providing us with hope for the future of basketball games, so it\’s not all bad in the world of basketball after all.

Buy Any Of These Beverages In Place Of Coffee

Published by Paul Anderson under Fitness

Coffee is the thing that keeps me vertical, without it I would be a floppy heap of uselessness. There is just nothing better than a strong cup of caffeine to start the day off.

It is very easy to become hooked on coffee; so many people rely on it heavily to get through their day. Once they realize that they are addicted, people will normally set off on the path of decaff-detox trying all other ways known to man that will give them a bit of an energy boost during the day.

Regardless of the situation, I\’ve tried some other things that seem to do the job just as well as coffee. From there, it really comes down to a matter of personal tastes and preferences.

There is such a variety of energy drinks out there and it is a good route to go down when looking for an immediate, quick fix. So many stores these days will have in stock the latest in energy drinks from Red Bull to Monster.

Out of them all I would choose sugar free Monster as it\’s in a nice big can and doesn\’t cause me to crash after a half hour sugar rush plus it delivers a substantial energy boost almost as soon as you have finished it.

Energy shots are another great way to get a quick energy fix. They don\’t contain as many calories but will still do a great job of keeping you awake. Red Bull has come up with a product of their own and other brands are soon catching on.

If you\’re looking for something a little more natural, you can go with things like green tea and wheat grass. You\’ll have to have an acquired taste for the wheat grass, but it\’s all natural and really does boost energy levels.

At the very least, I hope this has triggered some ideas in your mind. As much as I do love coffee, it\’s nice to be without it sometimes.

A Glimpse At The Insanely Remarkable Statistics Of Albert Pujols

Published by Chad Sappa under Fitness

There are many questions and debates that keep rearing their heads during discussions and the main ones are about sports. One of the most common ones is regarding Albert Pujols and whether or not he is the best ever at hitting the ball.

To keep the debate modern and up to date, we shall only compare Pujols with players we are familiar with from the past thirty years.

Going back even further doesn\’t give a very fair debate, as the whole nature of the game was different; equipment and fields etc. Ok, Willie Mays and Ted Williams were great in their day; to compare them with Pujols is unfair to all three of them.

How would Pujols have played in past eras? That\’s a question nobody can answer so the debate is pointless. He has enough going for him for us to consider him to be the best in the modern game, so why bother with comparisons with players from the past?

His standard of play now is awesome, and the prospect that Pujols could improve even more is mouth watering. Just shy of his 30th birthday, there are seasons ahead for Pujols to keep up his consistent form and establish himself as one of the modern day greats.

Albert Pujols has a career average that is capable of winning a league. His overall average is an amazing .334. His second season brought about the lowest average of .312 and his worst since has been .327.

The least amount of home runs that Pujols has hit during one season is 32. He has played 9 seasons in MLB and in 5 of those hit 40. This young man just keeps raising the bar and creating staggering statistics as he goes.

As every new season starts, we hold our breath to see if Pujols can maintain his stunning form, and he never lets us down. Is he the greatest hitter of our generation? That we can only answer when he finishes playing, but I wouldn\’t bet against him.

Why Is It Good To Get Good Home Gym Fitness Equipment That Will Not Break?

Published by Dale Harden under Fitness

Want to get in shape but would rather do it in the privacy of your own home? Then you might want to consider looking into buying some home gym fitness equipment. You probably think that might be a bit too much money, but the three listed below are all 500 dollars or less.

Band Flex Gym is somewhat similar to the Bow Flex except that the price is a lot less than the Bow Flex. Some of its good points are that it allows you to have 260 pounds of resistance and there are 67 possible exercises as compared to Bow Flex\’s 210 pounds and 60 exercises.

The great thing about this piece of home gym fitness equipment is that it is inexpensive, does not weigh much and very easy to put away and out of sight. The fact that the bands do wear out might be considered a flaw, but; at less than 10 dollars a piece, it is not too painful to replace them.

You might also be interested in the Dyna Gym, which is another relatively good fold up type of home gym, that is not as flimsy as some of the other fold ups. It is made of strong material and is more like having a real gym in your home. This particular one allows for up to 74 different exercises and even includes a work out video and work out chart.

A couple of flaws with this particular home gym is that it has no back support and there is no head rest for when you are doing exercises that require you to lie down.

The Mega Home Gym system is another piece of home gym fitness equipment that will not break the bank. It is made of strong steel and has a 400 pound capacity, there is a pull down bar for back and triceps, bench press for chest, leg extensions, standing curls, etc. It is the complete gym right in your own home. Only drawback is that you have to buy the weight plates separate from the gym itself.

If you are not wanting to break the bank when purchasing a home gym, one of these three home gym fitness equipment examples could be what you are looking for.

If you are looking home gym fitness equipment aka exercise equipment that won\’t result in your bankruptcy, then you might want to consider looking into all or any of the one of the three that are listed here.

Bicycling with Children

Published by Nancy Sathre-Vogel under Fitness

Parents around the world dream of heading out to see the world with their children. They\’ll spend their days exploring the deserts of the Egyptian pyramids or gaze upon the dusty rose colored Taj Majal under a full moon. They\’ll travel on buses, planes, trains, and donkey carts. But on bicycle? Exploring the world with kids on bikes?

My husband and I have cycled over 21,000 miles through 12 different countries with our 12 year old twin boys and have discovered that traveling on bicycles with children is the best way to travel.

Most families opt for buses or planes to travel the world, but they miss a lot that way. The motor allows you to easily reach the next city, so you tend to skip the small villages. However, it\’s the small villages that have retained the character of the country. In today\’s world, cities have become increasingly generic, but villages have not. Travel on bike allows you to spend time in the villages, thereby getting to know the countries you pass through more intimately.

Another advantage of traveling on bike is that you are one with Mother Nature. As you travel without the protection of a vehicle around you, you\’ll be more in touch with weather conditions and landscape. Our children have learned, first hand, the effect of altitude on temperature. They\’ve cycled over mountains and now truly understand the effects of the movement of tectonic plates.

But more than that, by touring on bicycles, children learn important life lessons that will carry them through life. They learn to persevere through hardships – knowing they will come out victorious on the other side. They learn there are times when only through teamwork can you achieve your goal. They learn that sometimes, the only thing you can do is put one foot in front of the other, set your sights on making it through the next 60 seconds, and forge ahead.

It is true that kids can learn all these lessons in other ways, but traveling on the bike is more fun!

Nancy Sathre-Vogel has been bicycling with children for more years than she cares to think about. She is now touring on her bike from the Arctic to Patagoniawith her sons as they attempt to break the world youngest to cycle the Pan American Highway. Don\’t reprint this exact article. The Most Valuable Trait In The Tennis World

Published by Carla Donaldson under Fitness

As the sport continues to evolve, many players and fans of tennis will debate the merits of the most important skill that a player can possess.

There are arguments that can be made for a handful of different elements of the sport, and while it may all boil down to a matter of opinion, it\’s still fun to look at the possibilities.

Here are the most important factors. Let\’s see which one you think matters most.

Looking back at top players in history such as John McEnroe, the question to ask is, is it volleying? All things considered, a regular game may be a danger for either opponent and end a point without trouble.

Is baseline play across the net favoured by modern games? A Lot of tennis experts would argue in favour. Andy Roddick would spend time playing the game from the net but he now prefers the baseline play. And take the example of Rafael Nadal who also takes control from the rear of the court.

On the other hand, maybe it is the serve that is important. A strong serve will give the player a distinct advantage over their opponent and if you consider the example of Roddick who will control the course of the match with his serve if he has made it difficult for his opponent to break them.

And what about the speed of the players? It obviously helps out a lot if the player can reach the ball every time and the opponent then has to work that bit harder to gain a point.

The last factor is the x-factor, and the one that I personally feel matters most. This is the mental game. The superstars like Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have some of the toughest mental games in the history of the sport.

You will hardly ever see either of these two stars become flustered or overexcited. They have the mental focus to remain composed throughout the game.
